FAQ

1. How do I set up my own fundraiser site?
Simply fill out the form here to get started. We'll go over your information and let you know within 48 hours if you are approved. If approved, we'll send you your login details to set up your site. It's very easy!

2. Do I have to know how to design a website in order to use this service?
Not at all! If you are approved, you'll simply log in to your site and upload a photo (and video if you like) to your site, and enter a short paragraph about your adoption journey. That's it!

3. Do I have to be contracted with Everlasting Adoptions before I can use this fundraiser?
Not at all. While we'd love to have you in our waiting families, it is not a requirement. We know that the financial part of adoption is a heavy burden for many people, and we want to help! You are welcome to use our fundraiser site whether you are already with an adoption agency, or even if you are seeking an independent adoption.

4. Do you take a percentage of our donations?
We take $1 out from every $5 donation that comes through your site. PayPal takes about 40 cents of every transaction and the other 60 cents covers our costs in running and advertising this site. We want to help you as much as possible, and we keep our costs down to the minimum.

5. How can we be sure that we will get our donations?
On your site profile page, you will see the total number of entries on your site. We take this number and mutliply it by $4 each to give you your allocated funds. We are not responsible for deleted or falicious entries! Each entry will have its own transaction ID through Paypal that can be tracked by the person making the donation (their receipt) and also by Everlasting Adoptions. If there is ever a problem, we would be happy to show you these transaction ID's.

6. In the Terms of service, it says you have the right to adapt, modify or remove entries in my site. Why is that?
Don't worry, we aren't planning on editing all your posts. :-) We simply put this in there to protect our site as well we your individual fundraiser site. If someone posted an entry with a bunch of profanity or hate (for whatever reason) and you choose not to delete it, we reserve the right to remove it if we feel it is very inappropriate and makes our cause look bad. The biggest reason for our ability to modify or remove entries is in the event that a spammer or hacker puts a malicious code into one of your entries which causes problems in the site. This part of the terms of service is mainly to protect your site from being overtaken by someone that shouldn't be able to do so. The only other reason we might "use" your entries is simply to advertise the site to more adoptive families. For example, we might show a demo with a few posts that we have gathered from these fundraiser sites, or we might create marketing material with a post taken from one of the sites. If so, we would never show revealing information and we would always change the names if names were involved in the post.
